Chatting Chapters

The podcast where we give our compliments and criticisms of a different book each episode. Spoilers included!

A little about us:

Paris
I'm a part-time Registered Nurse, but most of my days are spent at home with my toddler. I love sneaking in a good book whenever I can. During nap time, while cooking, cleaning, or even working out with an audiobook playing in the background. This podcast became a fun way for me to share my love of reading and create something that's just mine, outside of the everyday mum routine.

Hannah
Hi, I’m Hannah… I have a passion for travel and often read on the road. I also listen to countless podcasts; there is always something in my ears… So when Paris came to me asking if I’d make one with her. I said yes, absolutely. It’s been a great way to keep in touch, living far away from each other, as well as motivate me to read more consistently. I love keeping up with new trending books and taking recommendations from others

We just wrapped up our deep dive into "The Emperor of Gladness" by Ocean Vuang, and let me tell you, it was a journey. The contemporary fiction novel felt heavy and emotionally charged, it also left us reflecting on addiction and family dynamics.
This book is a testament to how life can be both ordinary and extraordinary at the same time. Hai's story is a poignant reminder of the complexities of mental health and the impact of relationships.
